A valid counter-notification must include: your physical or electronic signature; identification of the material removed and its location before removal; a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification; your name, address, and phone number; and a statement consenting to jurisdiction of the federal district court for your area (or if outside the US, any judicial district where YesAstrology may be found) and that you will accept service of process from the complainant.

Send your counter-notification to our designated copyright agent. Upon receipt, we will forward it to the original complainant. If they do not file a court action within 10 to 14 business days, we may restore the removed content.

Repeat Infringer Policy

YesAstrology takes repeat copyright infringement seriously. In accordance with the DMCA and our terms of service, we maintain a policy to terminate accounts of users who are deemed repeat infringers. A repeat infringer is someone who has had content removed due to valid copyright claims more than once in a 12-month period.

We track all DMCA notices and counter-notifications associated with each user account. If we identify patterns suggesting repeated infringement, we will issue warnings and ultimately suspend or terminate the account. We may also block IP addresses associated with infringement activity.

This policy applies to all users, including visitors, registered members, premium subscribers, and third-party contributors. Content Removal Procedures

Once we determine that content should be removed due to a valid copyright claim, we act quickly. Our procedure ensures that removal is thorough and consistent across all sections of the site, including blog posts, forum comments, user profiles, and tool outputs.

We begin by identifying all instances of the infringing material. This may involve searching for duplicates across different pages or user accounts. We then disable public access to those pages or remove the specific content blocks while preserving surrounding content if it is not infringing. After removal, we notify the uploading user via the email address associated with their account. The notification includes a copy of the DMCA notice we received and information about their right to file a counter-notification. We keep records of all removal actions for at least one year.
